Welcome back everyone!  

All morning and after school rehearsals begin next week.  Get your instruments rented this week or early next week so we can start getting into our rehearsals!  Here is the schedule in case you forgot!

• Choir is Tuesday's and Thursday's 3:15-4:30pm
• Senior Wind ensemble is Monday's and Wednesday's 3:15-4:30pm
• Jazz Band is Tuesday's and Thursday's 7:30-8:45am (If there are enough people available from grade 8 or 9 then we can have 2 separate jazz ensembles-Jr Jazz would be Monday/Wednesday morning)
• Intermediate band is 4th period is every Monday and Wednesday and day 2 Friday 4th period.  

Summer Break

Congratulations on a fantastic year everyone!

I hope everyone enjoys a bit of a break this summer and enjoys some long overdue rest and relaxation.  Speaking of resting and relaxing, remember to practice your breathing and posture, stay active and hey while your at it maybe find a song online to practice over the summer.  Check out https://musescore.org/en and search for your favorite melody, it is probably up there.  A little goes a long way, and you don't want to be put behind months of embouchure strength when we reunite in September.  I will be checking my email every few weeks so if you have any questions let me know.

Information Meeting May 21st at 6:30 for Toronto

There will be an information session for our tour next May 2020.  This is tour is for students grade 9-12 in the Music program.  Students should have received draft itineraries and registration forms.  Please complete the registration form and hand in a deposit of $350 before May 24th.
